TGPS combined cycle performance training course combines theory and practical experience to make this course “hands-on” The idea is that the participants leave the course with a clear understanding of the operation of a combined cycle power plant and what variables affect the power plant performance.
The course combines the thermodynamics around the brayton cycle and rankine cycle as well the calculations, tools and best practices to evaluate the efficiency of a combined cycle as well the performance of the gas turbine, HRSG, steam turbine and condenser.
The participant should be able to calculate at the end of the course the main parameters of interest in a combined cycle power plant.
Who should attend?
Plant Manager, Operations Managers, Engineering Managers and Operators of combined cycle power plants.
What do I get at the end of the course?
